The Institute Edition is the largest edition, with features that enable it to serve studios with large faculties, community music schools, and entities that need to organize weekend festivals or weeklong workshops or institutes. It contains all the features of the Deluxe edition and adds other features.

In addition to all the features found in the Deluxe edition, the Institute Edition provides these extra features:

1. An integral part of the Institute edition is The Scheduler, a comprehensive system for organizing the use of rooms by teacher, student, and class. You can create schedules for any day of the week and attach that schedule to future dates on a recurring basis that you specify, either weekly, daily, bi-weekly, MWF, TTH, etc. You can create reports showing the hours scheduled for a teacher or class or student, as well as the hours actually taught. Because The Scheduler comes integrated into A tempo, you do not waste time having to re-type teacher or student names or class names. You can view the schedule by day and by week. The Scheduler will alert you if there is a scheduling conflict. The newest feature in the Scheduler is the Lesson Planning/Assignment page for each student or class.

2. The Teachers file has been enhanced, so that a history of prior classes taught by each teacher is automatically created and preserved.

3. You can create merge documents using the information from each teacher's record. These documents can be saved and printed or emailed, thus making possible easy and rapid communication with all faculty members.

4. The Students file has been enhanced to allow you to organize the students into groups by level of study and age. Students can easily be moved from one group to another. This is an essential part of preparing a festival or workshop and can be accomplished in a matter of minutes.

5.Recruitment for a future workshop is easier because of the ability to communicate with each outside student's private techer via merge letters and emails.

6. Enrolling students in more than one class can be done quickly, with the new Class Tracks feature.

7. Situations that require multiple fees per invoice, such as in a workshop setting, now are easy to record, using the Fee Batches feature.

8. You can purchase a regular copy of the Institute editon or a Suzuki copy containing a list of the Suzuki repertory.
