edition of A tempo.
The
Special Edition is an intermediate edition, with features that
place it between the Deluxe and the basic. It adds a Sections file to
the basic Edition, with Section records already created to fit your program,
thereby expanding the organization possibilities as well as the reporting.
In
addition to all the features found in the basic edition, the Special Edition
provides these extra features:
1.
You have multiple Sections, each Section matching a level in your program.
2.
You can add more Sections when you need them. By having Sections, you
can better organize aspects of your teaching.
3.
Each Section can contain any number of Classes.
4.
There are extra reports, such as Enrollment, related to each Section.
5.
Fees that you create are attached to a Section, which makes the selection
of a fee easier; when creating an entry for a student's payment, the choices
from the drop-down list of fees are limited to the Section(s) in which
the student is enrolled.
6.
You can create a Section for prospective students.
7.
Sections and Classes can be used even for private lessons. For example,
you can create a Section for "Piano". Within that Section, you
can have a Class for your Monday pupils, another Class for your Tuesday
pupils, etc. By creating these Classes, you have access to many features,
including a Class Attendance Sheet that can be set up with all the lesson
dates for the year.
Note:
In the Special edition for Suzuki string teachers, besides the Section
titles, all the repertoire titles from volumes 1 - 9 for violin are included
in the Music Performed file. You can add more titles as you need
them.
