The New Version 4 of A tempo is here!

Note: If you have been using an earlier version of A tempo, you will see many enhancements in version 4; yet even more changes are hidden in the background. The program has expanded, and it has also been strengthened. The results are that it is more stable (less possibility of damaged files), and it has more data capacity.

Major New Features in Version 4

1. Family Records are now available in the Students file. All invoices (Deluxe) and payments are created and recorded through the Family record. Emails can be sent to Families as well as to students. Now, an invoice can be written to cover all the siblings. (When upgrading from version 3, the Family records are automatically created during the upgrade process.)

2. A tempo now has virtually unlimited capacity for records (64 quadrillion) and field contents (about a billion unicode characters limit for one field).

3. Security is greatly enhanced. There is a permanent Administrator account. Other accounts can be assigned by the administrator. Each account (user) has his/her own password. One of seven levels of Privileges can be assigned to each account. However, if no passwords are needed, the user accounts can remain inactive, and A tempo will start without prompting for a password.

4. Emails can now contain attachments. Invoices (Deluxe and Institute) can be emailed, in batch or individually.

5. Attendance Sheets can now contain lesson times for use with private lessons. The list of students on the Attendance Sheet can be sorted by lesson time.

6. In the Deluxe and Institute editions, Payments now are automatically divided up and linked to multiple invoice line items according to each line item's percentage of the total bill. This makes possible accurate tracking of the amount of income generated by each teacher. In the past, the calculations were based on the invoice items rather than actual payments.

7. The enrollment of a student in a class has been simplified. Now, the assignment of Department, Section and Class are all together on the same layout and can be quickly assigned.

8. In the Deluxe and Institute, there can now be an unlimited number of Departments and Department Sections. In The Special, there can be an unlimited number of Sections.

9. The history of Classes Completed has been improved to allow for more control by the user.
