C. A tempo Deluxe is for those studios that need one or more of the following:

1. Robust Organization. You might have several programs, such as KinderMusik, or Theory, along with private students. There could be several instruments taught, or even more than one location for teaching. In A tempo Deluxe, the studio can be divided into as many as twelve Departments. Each Department can be divided into as many as 12 Sections. Each Section can have an unlimited number of Classes. The naming of the divisions is completely customizable. Reports for individual Departments, Sections, or Classes can be generated.

2. Multiple Teacher files. A virtually-unlimited number of teachers can be entered. Reports for each teacher can be generated regarding student enrollment, invoices and payments, balance owed, birthdays, etc.

3. Complete Invoicing. Students can be billed for an extended period of time and have installment payments applied to the bill. Invoices can be entered one time, (for example, in the first month), and then automatically duplicated and printed every time (monthly, weekly, quarterly) thereafter. Powerful batch invoicing can save hours of time each month. A Class Payment Sheet helps to assure timely payments.

4. Customized. The Deluxe comes with certain records already created for you: the Kindermusik levels and the Music for Young Children levels. A Suzuki version, with the Suzuki levels and Suzuki reportory titles, can be purchased separately.

D. The Institute Edition is for large studios that, in addition to the features found in the Deluxe, also need one or more of the following:

1.Scheduling. Scheduling can be done for multiple rooms used for teaching by several teachers. The scheduling can be projected onto a calendar for recurring appointments. The Scheduler can report on dated assignments for a teacher, student or class, as well as the number of hours or lessons completed by any of the three.

2. Workshops. It has special features needed for organizing workshops for students from outside the studio. Students can be organized into groups according to level of study and age.

3. Emailing to the Faculty. Emails can be sent both to members of the studio faculty and to the teachers of students from outside the studio, who, perhaps, attend a workshop.

4. Teacher's History of Prior Classes.Each teacher's history of classes taught is created automatically.

In summary, if you have more than one teacher in the studio, or you give out invoices occasionally, or you want to see how much a student owes on his account (that would be "receivables"), you definitely should consider getting A tempo Deluxe or Institute.
